Overview of Release
This release includes the launch of “Single Sign-On (SSO) via ADFS” - a new feature that provides the option to be logged into all Concrete applications automatically via ADFS.
In a retail environment, users need to login to and use multiple systems, including Concrete. It is a cumbersome experience needing to login to - and logout of - each system every time.
This development allows Concrete customers to provide all users of Concrete with a Single Sign-On (SSO) experience, whereby having logged into one system (via ADFS), they are authenticated to use Concrete applications without having to re-enter credentials.
If you’d like to explore enabling this for your brand(s) please contact your Concrete Account Manager.
To support this update there will be a new log out procedure for all users of Concrete ONE. Users will be able to log out from Concrete ONE using the same Logout button as they do now but this will now take users to an additional page giving them the choice to either:
- Log out from all Concrete applications
- Log out from everywhere (this option will only be present when user has logged in via ADFS)
